The latest edition of I Am Trance, Evolution offers listeners an extended trip through the many shades of modern trance. Episode #IAT266 features three individual sets from Toregualto, Glassman and special guest Josh Dirschka, combining uplifting melodies, progressive grooves, darker atmospheres and classic club energy.
Across the episode, the selectors highlight productions from labels including HTE Recordings, A State of Trance, Afterdark, Magic Island Elevate, VANDIT Records, Regenerate Records, Lost Language, Alveda Music and Llokko Trance Core.
Toregualto opens the show with a driving selection led by S.H.O.K.K.’s “Insurgentes,” Giuseppe Ottaviani and Ilan Bluestone’s “Together Again,” and Sneijder’s “Hear Me Calling.” His set also includes the Wayne McAndrew bootleg remix of Gouryella’s timeless anthem and closes with Skyvol & Monzilla’s “Vinyl Lover.”
Glassman then takes the mix into a deeper and more progressive direction. His set features Alex M.O.R.P.H.’s “Mazerunner,”D72’s “Blissful,” Kinetica’s “Global Reset” and Manuel Le Saux & Db Mokk’s “Zero.” Glassman also includes his own production, “Amazing.”
The final section welcomes Josh Dirschka, who presents a melodic and emotional guest mix featuring several of his own productions. His selection includes “Deep Inside Your Mind,” “Falling Like Rain” and “One More Chance,” alongside Peter Hulsmans – “Infinite.” Both “Infinite” and “One More Chance” were released on Alveda Music, further connecting the guest mix with the label’s uplifting trance sound.
Josh Dirschka’s set concludes with POINoir’s bootleg of The Prodigy classic “Voodoo People,” providing a striking finale to this week’s broadcast.
